Tánaiste condemns those responsible for disruptions in Britain

The Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs made the following comments this morning in response to news of the disruptions caused in Britain on account of explosions and security alerts.

"Those who set out to cause disruption by planting explosives in Britain this morning are behaving in a dangerous and irresponsible manner. Such behaviour can only be condemned and repudiated. Whoever is responsible, their actions are completely contrary to the interests of peace and reconciliation to which the Irish and British Governments, with the support of our respective peoples, are fully committed".
